Case study
Ike
IKE came to me with a working product, internal momentum, and a bold mission: to be the most secure and future-ready age verification platform on the market. What they lacked was a brand to match. The goal was to establish IKE as a credible authority in the security and compliance space, without leaning on tropes or making it feel like a holdover from its original category roots.

SHAPING THE STRATEGY
Before diving into design, I helped the team take a step back and look at the bigger picture. What did the brand actually need to communicate? Who were they speaking to, and what mattered most to that audience? I led a positioning and narrative exercise to clarify the brand’s voice—something authoritative, but still accessible. We didn’t need to sound like a bank or a startup.. That tone guided everything from headline structures to interaction copy.
SYSTEM-FIRST DESIGN
The design work focused on creating something flexible and foundational. I built a modular logo system using a continuous, linked mark—a visual nod to verification and connection. The type system (Montserrat Bold + Manrope Regular) struck a balance between structure and approachability, while the palette leaned into deep navy and clean neutrals for a tech-native, trustworthy feel. Rather than creating assets in isolation, I developed a full visual system—logo, grid, layout, motion principles—that could scale across every surface.
BRINGING CONSISTENCY TO PRODUCT
IKE’s team was already building out a suite of tools and onboarding flows, so part of my role was translating the brand system into product surfaces. I collaborated directly with internal product and engineering to apply the identity across app UI, NFC verification flows, and dashboard elements. That included designing iconography, refining interaction patterns, and helping establish a design language that the internal team could actually run with. This wasn’t just branding, it was infrastructure
EXPLAINING IT WITHOUT WORDS
To support the brand rollout, I concepted and produced a short explainer video that introduced IKE’s technology and value prop in under 60 seconds. The goal was clarity, not hype—something that could live on the homepage, be sent to partners, or play in a pitch deck without feeling like a startup cliché.

All 3D animations were built in Blender and styled to match the core identity system with simple forms, confident pacing, and plenty of negative space. I handled scripting, sequencing, and visual direction, working frame by frame to reinforce the brand’s key messages: secure, smart, seamless.
The results
IKE now operates with a brand that reflects the integrity of its product: sharp, modern, and consistent. The new identity gives the team what they need to scale—without needing a designer in the room every time they spin up a new asset. More importantly, it gives IKE a platform to build on, with a voice and visual system that can grow alongside the business.
